Do you ever wonder how some players are able to improvise effortlessly over any song without ever running out of ideas?

In this course I will show you how it's done!

Becoming a great harmonica soloist is a bit like learning a language. It's not about memorising made up licks from a book.

Think of a parrot; a parrot can mimic a sentence but it doesn't understand what it's saying, so it will never be able to construct it's own sentences or say anything unique. This is a bit like what happens when you just learn licks from a book.

In this course I'm going to teach you the 'language' of blues harmonica, so that you can make up your own licks and improvise freely over any song.

I will teach you all the techniques you need know in order to sound like Sonny Boy Williamson, Little Walter, etc. But most importantly I will teach you how to find your OWN voice on the instrument, so you can sound like YOU!

Ultimate Blues Harmonica Soloist

Ultimate Blues Harmonica Soloist is a 10-part course that is designed to help beginner to intermediate players discover their true potential.

It not only covers every sound and nuance that you're ever likely to hear on a blues record, but it also contains the crucial fundamentals of technique: from how to position the tongue, mouth and throat to 'unlock' all the bends and different sounds you want to make, such as vibrato.

On top of that, I’ve included everything I know about scale theory and improvisation, so that anyone who works through the course will have the musical knowledge they’ll need to improvise their own bluesy solos, and even work with a band if they want to.

This program isn’t just about how to play the harmonica. It's about how to become a killer blues SOLOIST. This is why it’s the only program of its kind on the market.

It contains knowledge that you can’t learn in music school. Stuff that I have acquired from more than ten years touring, recording and teaching experience.

Here's a closer look at what's included:

If that sounds like a lot… It is! That’s why it’s 10 weeks long. I want to clarify something here: Ultimate Blues Harmonica Soloist is a self-paced course. You can go through it as slowly as you want to, even if it takes you years to finish all the material. The program is suitable for both beginner and intermediate players, but beginners may need to spend longer than a week on each section before moving on. It all depends on the individual and how much time you have to practice each week. You will have lifetime access to this course, so you can go back and revisit any of the lectures as many times as you need to throughout your harmonica career, but one thing you CAN’T do is burn through all of the content in a couple of days. I’ve specifically 'drip-fed' the content week-by-week so that every student has to take the time to fully absorb and practice the material before moving on to the next week's content.

So if you’re the impatient type… This program ISN’T for you. Even though it’s a 'follow-along' style program, it still requires some work on your end. But the good news is, if you put the work in and are patient enough to follow the system through to the end, you will see some amazing results!

All of this will cost you less than the price of FOUR harmonica lessons. Professional players often charge $75-100 per hour to teach you how to play. That means that over a lifetime of lessons, you could easily end up paying more than $10,000. For all the information in this program, I could easily charge thousands, but the reason I put this 'roadmap' together is to allow as many people as possible to unlock their full potential on the harmonica.

 Frequently Asked Questions

How long do I have access to the course?

How does lifetime access sound? After enrolling, you have unlimited access to this course for as long as you like - across any and all devices you own.

When does the course start and finish?

The course starts when you enroll and 'unlocks' week-by-week over a 10 week period. After the 10 weeks, you have all the content forever to go back and reference at any time. There is around 45-60 mins material in each week.

What if I get behind during the 10 week period?

No problem at all. I've structured this course to be semi-self paced. This means that each new block of training is designed to be taken over the period of a week, but depending on your starting ability and how much time you have, you may need to work through it more slowly. You can go through the material as slowly as you want, even if it takes you years to finish all the material! And of course, you can go back to its contents as many times as you need to.

What if I am unhappy with the course?

I would never want you to be unhappy! If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, contact me in the first 30 days and I will give you a full refund.

Will I be able to interact with you and other students while taking the course?

YES! That's part of the fun. You'll be taking the course along side other students who are doing the same content you are doing week by week, and I will answer questions in the comments section of each video.

Are there backing tracks to play with?

Yes. The course contains Chicago blues style backing tracks played by world-class blues musicians. Each week I will guide you through different exercises, including interactive call and response videos, to get you used to improvising over the backing tracks. You can then stream or download the tracks as MP3's to practice by yourself.

What Key Harmonicas do I need?

This course uses regular (Richter tuned) 10 hole harmonicas in the key of C and A

Can I enroll in this course as a complete beginner?

Yes. I have structured this course in such a way that it is suitable for both beginner and intermediate players, but be sure to complete my FREE 3-Week course first.

Do you offer 1-1 Skype lessons?

Private consults over Skype are available as an option to all students who have completed the Ultimate Blues Harmonica Soloist course. The training I offer through my courses is unique, highly immersive and interactive. Private Skype lessons will be worth exponentially more to YOU as a student if you have gone through my online training as I have designed it. Testimonials

"Excellent course! I took it earlier this year and have improved my blues improv significantly! Everything is pertinent, well explained and provides a solid foundation for soloing!" - Marc Trottier

"As an advanced intermediate player, I can only recommend the course. Will Wilde teaches all the necessary basics and techniques of blues harp playing. If you work through this course thoroughly, you will be able to improvise freely and above all, well. The necessary theory is not neglected either. Another positive aspect is that this course is permanently available after purchase." - Harry Matschat

"Classes 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 5.5 are without doubt the best four tutorials I've had in my two and a half years of seriously playing. I'll be replaying them on a consistent basis." - Adam Rosenbaum

"I'm using quite a bit of the Ultimate Harmonica in my general playing now. I'm finding it easier to solo over songs off the cuff, instead of working out the original harp solos. Also finding it easier to work out solos off tracks." - Paul Wilkins

"The instruction is really clear, concise and orderly. The improvising with backing tracks is the key. You can hear when it sounds right, and you can hear the improvement in your own playing very quickly. I cannot tell you enough how good and very enjoyable the whole experience is. I feel certain that when I have completed the course you will see a far more confident player." - Steve Morgan

"Superb course Will, you must have spent a lot of time putting this together as it is extremely well thought out. I have been playing on and off for years and this course explained a lot and more importantly has made me a better player. Thanks!" - Brian Cid

"I enjoyed and learned a lot with this course. Here are some concluding remarks: 1) The format is very good. The call & response sections really brand the important aspects of the content in your head. 2) The length is ideal. Not too long, not too short. 3) For this reason, the course is self-contained. On a closer look, each class allows you to go deeper, investigate the phrases, play with variables and interiorize what is needed. 4) The week summaries and "homework" were great. That, alone, is sufficient for another 3 months of work. 5) The way that it is structured, this is a bit more than a course. It's a hybrid of class material, structured practice and library. Overall, it's brilliant. Thank you very much for the opportunity." - Marilia Countinho

"This course is a beauty! Laid out perfectly in the correct sequential order. I am going through it and it is freeing me up like never before. Get it!!" - Al Robinson
